NITE partners with YouTuber to reach younger audiences on product safety

The National Institute of Technology and Evaluation (NITE) has started collaborating with a popular YouTuber, known for videos showcasing the fun of science, to raise awareness among younger audiences about the potential dangers of everyday products.

The collaboration with YouTuber Genki Ichioka, who runs the YouTube channel Genki Labo, began in July.

Ichioka, who has over a million subscribers, has previously posted videos in which he opens safes by freezing them to minus 196 degrees Celsius and cooks steak using laser beams. In addition to his experiments, he also hosts science workshops and makes television appearances.
